In early October the top skimboarders in the world descended on Newport Beach for the final UST event of the 2012 season.

Sand Hollow Mayhem at Sand Hollow Reservoir in Utah. It was insanely fun college party that included a flatland skimboarding and wakeboarding competition, a blog, zipline, volleyball, and a slip n’ slide.
2012 UST Stop 7: Santa Cruz Skimbash Video
The 2012 Santa Cruz Skimbash was held 9/15 and 9/16 at 26th Ave in Santa Cruz Ca. Professional skimboarders from across the country made the journey to compete on the glassy waves under typically cloudy skies. In the end Austin Keen picked up his first win of the UST Season launching him well into the top 10. Only one stop remains on the 2012 UST tour and a lot will be up for grabs at the next event.
Victoria Skimboards in Cabo

CUT THE CRAP! A short Philippines skimboarding video
Bayogyog, a skimboarder from the land of high flying skimmers aka Mati in Davao Oriental, jumped over a banca with his skimboard and did a little flip on the side. Also, the way he ripped those glassy Dahican waves – well let’s say he puts some surfers out there to shame.
