A dense fog and rising swell greeted competitors and spectators on day 2 of the L.B.I Skim Jam presented by Surf Shack. Nevertheless, the morning started off quickly so as to avoid the forecasted afternoon onshore wind with heat A of the professional semi-finals kicking off just after 9:30 A.M.

Anchor Point Open at Alki Beach

The Anchor Point Open will be taking at a -2.5 tide at 10:30am, which should provide for a solid 5 hours of skimboarding. There will also be a demo the New Line of 2010 Kayotics Skimboards.

The Virgin River Classic

No wild waves here, just sweet flatland ideal for skimboarding. Competitors will compete for prizes for Open, 16-18 years old, 13-15 years, 10-12 years and 9 & younger divisions..Pre-registration, guarantees event t-shirt, deadline is Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 6 pm.
