The Anchor Point Open will be taking at a -2.5 tide at 10:30am, which should provide for a solid 5 hours of skimboarding. There will also be a demo the New Line of 2010 Kayotics Skimboards.
Alki Beach is a great place to skim on a negative tide or something close to it. It’s a pretty chill spot because it can’t be seen from the road so if you were just driving by you’d never even know it was there. People who are walking their dogs or rollerblading by are often blown away by skimboarding for one reason or another.
