Sacramento.
How long have you been skimming?
4 years.
Where do you skim normally?
Ashton, Estates, Discovery, Paradise, Bannister and Rio Linda.
Who do you skim with?
Mike Finneran, Alex Larivee, Steven Taylor, Derek Popple, James Arbios, Hunter Hill and occasionally Brian Kniveton, Brent Lippincot and Ryan Newby.
What is your favorite skim spot?
The farthest so far is Santa Cruz, CA.
Where do you want to travel to skim?
Hoping to get up to Washington this summer for the DB comps and maybe the Virgin River!
What board(s) do you ride?
DB proto space plank.
Do you compete?
Yes.
If so, what competitions have you competed in?
Sacramento’s Skimfest.
And what are some of your contest highlights?
Watching Alex Larivee bail…hard.

What other board sports do you partake in?
Snowboarding.

Place in DB AM this summer.
Where do you see the skimboarding going in the future?
Even in the short time I’ve been riding, the sport has progressed an insane amount.
With the sport growing so much internationally I’m sure there will be some major media coverage soon.

Blake Zimmerman and Adrien Raza.
If you were stranded on a desert island that already has a plentiful resource of skimboards what three things would you bring?
Flat box, guitar and a cell phone.
What is the best advice you can to a skim grom trying to get recognized?
Just love the sport.
