The conditions weren’t quite on par with recent years at the 2015 Oktoberfest in Newport Beach but it was still a great time with lots of top quality skimboarding.
Blair Conklin flew all the way back from Tahiti where he has been studying abroad just to compete for the event and he walked away with the win pushing his knee to the breaking point in the process.
Sam Stinnett secured the 2015 UST title with a second place finish followed by Austin Keen in 3rd and Mexico’s Juan Carlos Nazario (Bullo) in 4th place.
It was an epic event with lots of smiles.
