The site for the competition is one of the best flatland beaches in the lower mainland; it has an adjacent parking lot, and is visited by hundreds of people during any given weekend of the summer. White Rock lies only 2 miles north of the USA border and only 35 minutes south of the city of Vancouver. This makes it the closest venue possible for those who are driving from flatland scenes like Tacoma, Sacramento, or even Utah. Those who are flying in to Vancouver have direct access through public transit or fellow skimboarders who reside in Vancouver.
