A skimboarding photo of a frontside flip landed by DB Skimboards rider Blake Zimmerman. Blake is easily one of the more consistent riders in the realm of flatland skimboarding and has landed more flip tricks than almost any other skimboarder out there.
This brings up an important point about the growth of flatland skimboarding scene. For flatland skimboarding to progress and gain more attention flips tricks are what the next generation of riders will need to be able to land on a consistent basis. Riders like Blake Z and the Goon Media Crew are some of the only riders landing these tricks on a regular basis. That needs to change for flatland skimboards to truly progress.
