Cypress Creek “The Creek” in Cypress, Texas

Mitch Daues, Mitch Elder, Jacob Herrera, Jace Basford, Ryan Cook, 2GNAR crew, S2L guys, Nick Reeves, any chill local at the creek
What is your favorite skim spot?
The Creek
Where have you traveled to skimboard?
California, Colorado, Utah.
Where do you want to travel to skim?
Italy.
What board(s) do you ride?
Mainly DB Proto!! But getting one of the sickest boards ever to be stamped…so stay tuned!
Do you wave skim? Flatland? Both?
Flat all the way!!!
Do you compete?
Yes, but just having a sesh with a bunch of buddies is just as fun, or even more fun than competing.
If so, what competitions have you competed in?
SkimJam, upcoming Gnarfest!
And what are some of your contest highlights?
Riding with the people that are progressing the sport! Meeting new people!

What other board sports do you partake in?
Skateboarding, Wakeskating, Wakeboarding, Longboarding, Snowboarding, Winching.
Where do you see skimboarding going in the future?
I see skimboarding progressing so much in the future! Down here in Cypress, skimboarding is booming from a younger generation. Spreading the sport is key! I see skimboarding getting a major sponsor like RVCA or Quicksilver.
What riders influenced your skimboarding?
First of all, Mitch Elder and Mitch Daues got me into skimming. Emile Panerio, Blake Zimmerman, Isaac Thomas, Tyler Kelly, Friedrich Fleuh, Tony Saddler, T.K.
What riders are pushing the sport right now?
Definitely the younger generation! But if I had to call out names… Blake Zimmerman, Tony Saddler, Mitch Elder, Anthony Davis, Riders at Conspiracy Skimboards, Ryan Cook, Jace Basford, Ryan Efaw, 2GNAR, Skim2Live Riders!
If you were stranded on a desert island that already has a plentiful resource of skimboards what three things would you bring?
Katy Perry, my sick kicker, and water.
What makes you happy?
God! The Ladies! and Skimming!
If everyone rode a skimboard would the world be a better place?
Nahh, too many people would get in your way

Progressing the sport to a new level
