Each month during the summer 9,000 people visited FlatlandMagazine.com for the release of their three issues. In terms of circulation of the magazine the magazine reaches the door steps of nearly 10,000 skimboarders worldwide. We have visitors from the US, Canada, Mexico, Southern America, Poland, Japan, the Philippines, New Zealand and Australia to name a few places.

Floridian Brad Domke, pictured here, has called his sport ‘skurfing’ since he was 13. If you’ve never seen the kid doing his thing, picture Chippa Wilson jacked up on goofballs with far more limb-flailing (a necessity for maintaining a line) and a finless, disc-like board under his feet.

Northeast Skim Tour Finals
Another chapter in Northeast Skimboarding is coming to a close as the final event in the Northeast Skim Tour’s inaugural season wrapped up in fashion this past weekend. August 4th and 5th was an event held exclusively for those competitors who had enrolled in the complete tour. Competitors received a bracket seeding based upon their season long performance standings, and they were rewarded with a two day adventure to one of the most pristine and fun skim breaks in all of New England.
Northeast Skim Tour Stop 3 Seabrook: Results and Photos
The Northeast Skim Tour was super stoked to make their first appearance at Seabrook, NH and pursue some of the fine waves up north. The conditions were outstanding early and when the wind came on shore they bogged out a little, but for the most part remained extremely enjoyable.
