Some of the world’s top amateur and semi-professional skimboarders will be making their way to Dewey Beach for the 31st annual ZAP Amateur World Championships of Skimboarding, set for Aug. 11 and 12.
The event is hosted by Skim USA and sponsored by Alley Oop Skim Shop.
It’s the final stop on the Skim USA tour, as well as one of the oldest skimboarding contests in the world, according to Jason Wilson, owner of Alley Oop.
