Where do you skim normally?
I normally ride at Howarth Park in Mukilteo or I’ll head out to Jetty Island (Everett) if there ferry is running.
Who do you skim with?
I always just skim with my buddies… Scott, Cheese, Malt, Matt, Beej, Colin, Jeff.. We usually all head down to Howarth together. Other times I ride with Marty and the LS Skim guys.
How is skimboarding at Howarth Park in Everett?
The last two years the creek has been amazing to ride when the tide is low, but lately I have been riding there and the log that allowed water to flow into the creek is no
longer there so it’s a bit different. The beach is still really nice to ride and the sand is super soft and forgiving. For the most part all the local people/skimmers are pretty chill and friendly.
Where have you traveled to skimboard?
All over the State of Washington…You name it and I’ve been there. I’ve skimmed up in Neah Bay and I am pretty sure not too many people head out there to skim. It was the warmest ocean water I’ve ever felt. Highly recommend skimming there if you can find it. I’ll give ya directions if you really want to… I’ve also been to some plances in
Oregon…
Where do you want to travel to skim?
Well, like many other skimmers, I won’t lie, my dream is to go over to Australia. I’d also like to head down to SacTown to skim just cuz of all the dope vids I’ve seen from that region and my buddy Malt lives down there now and I hardly get to see him…
What board(s) do you ride?
I am currently riding a DB Proto..Pure love on that board.

If so, what competitions have you competed in?
Puget Sound Throwdown, I worked a bit too much last summer..More comps in sight though.

Haha well I got biggest/best fall in the PSTD

What other board sports do you partake in?
Longboarding, surfing, snowboarding, skate occasionally,wakeboad/wakesurf
What skimboarding goals do you have?
To keep having fun…that’s all that really matters to me.
Where do you see the skimboarding going in the future?
Skimboarding has really blown up all over the globe in the last few years and I really hope the sport continues to grow. I could see it dying out and just being some fad that happened in the early 2000’s but I really hope it continues to spread and
grow.
What riders influenced your skimboarding?
Isaac Thomas, Tony Saddler, Little Blake Zimmerman, Marty F Baby, John Minns, Kyle Lynch and really anyone else who really has a passion for skimmin’
What riders are pushing the sport right now?
All of the above…It takes each and every skimmer to push a sport.. We are pushing skimboarding by the masses. The more people that skim, the better. I hope it continues to get bigger and bigger.
If you were stranded on a desert island that already has a plentiful resource of skimboards what three things would you bring?
1) All my buddies
2) A red robin w/ free food that’s open 24hrs a day
3) My buddy chris’ 5th wheel RV that sleeps 14 people.

What is the best advice you can to a skim grom trying to get recognized?
Skim as much as possible. Always have fun cuz if you get past the point where it’s funthere’s no point to it anymore…
