Originally, Shogun by James Clavell, was about an an English Sailor, an invincible warlord, and a beautiful woman who was torn between two ways of life and two was of love. All brought together in an extraordinary saga of a time and a place aflame with conflict, passion, ambition, and the struggle for power. I revisited this through my own life and the skimboarding around it.
